Philippa (Pip) Penfold

Philippa (known as Pip) is a People and Culture professional with 20 years’ experience who has spent the last 10 years living and working across Asia. Pip has worked in senior HR roles across various industries, and has broad experience designing HR strategies and developing and implementing HR programs and practices. She is a transformation and change management specialist with extensive organisational development experience who enjoys working in complex environments alongside senior stakeholders. Pip has managed many HR technology implementations and supported HR functions with the shift to digital.

In addition to her role as VP of People and Strategy at Peoplewave, Pip provides specialist support and expertise to several emerging HR technology companies as an Advisor. Curious about technology and the talent management needs of the future workplace, Pip is constantly seeking information about new technologies and exploring their human impact.

Pip holds an Executive MBA from the #1 ranked Kellogg-HKUST program and a Master of Science in Human Resource Management. She also holds a PgDip in Strategy and Innovation from Oxford University’s Säid Business School and a GradCert in Change Management from the Australian Graduate School of Management, as well as multiple global HR certifications (GPHR, CAHRI, MCIPD, SHRM-SCP).
